Caipirinha (Holiday)

Base Spirit : Cachaca
This Holiday season inspired Caipirinha recipe is based on Cabana Cachaça's own recipe.
Ingredients
  • 2 Measures of Cabana Cachaça
  • 1 1/2 Limes
  • 8 Cranberries
  • 1 ½ tbsp Cinnamon Sugar
  • Crushed Ice
  • Dash of Nutmeg
  • Rosemary to Garnish
Equipment
  • Muddler
  • Ice Crusher
  • Bar Spoon
  • Thick Short Soda Glass
  • Short Drinking Straw
Cut the Lime into quarters and put 5 Lime quarters and 5 Cranberries into the Soda Glass along with 1 1/2 heaped Bar Spoons worth of Cinnamon Sugar. Use the Muddler to crush and mix the sugar with the lime and cranberries.
Add the Crushed Ice, ensuring it is heaped over the top of the glass. Now add the Cabana Cachaça to the glass. Lastly use the bar spoon to stir the ingredients together.
If the ice appears below the top of the glass, add some more crushed ice before serving. Garnish with the last piece of Lime, the rest of the Cranberries and the Rosemary and add a dash of Nutmeg. Add the Drinking Straw and serve.
