June Bug

Base Spirit : Rum
Ingredients
  • 1 Measure of Malibu
  • 1 Measure of Midori Melon Liqueur
  • 1/2 Measure of Creme de Banana
  • 3 Measure of Pineapple Juice
  • Juice of half a freshly squeezed Lime
  • 1/2 Measure of Sugar Syrup
  • Ice
  • Wedge of Pineapple for Garnish
Equipment
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Citrus Juicer
  • Strainer
  • Highball Glass
Using the Citrus Juicer, prepare the Lime Juice first. Once you have your lime juice, half fill the Cocktail Shaker with Ice and add the Malibu, Midori, Creme de Banana, Pineapple Juice, Lime Juice and Sugar Syrup. Shake well until a layer of ice forms on the cocktail shaker.
Half fill the Highball Glass with fresh Ice and strain the shaken mix into the glass. Garnish with a Wedge of Pineapple before serving.
Optional: Substitute Pineapple Malibu for the original Coconut Malibu. It's a sutble change but one that works.
