Le Ti' Mauny

Base Spirit : Rum
Ingredients
  • 4 Measures of La Mauny 55 White Rhum
  • 1/2 Measure of Sugar Syrup
  • Ice

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Strainer
  • Cocktail Glass (Chilled)
  • Sharp Knife
Chill the Cocktail Glass by filling with Ice and topping up with tap water. While the glass is chilling, take a Lime and cut out a circular piece from the middle. Carefully peel off the Peel from the flesh. This should create a large ring of lime peel. Cut the peel to length and then lay the length of peel onto the work surface. Using the back of the knife, slowly run the peel over the knife to create the twist. You're now ready to make the cocktail.
Half fill the Cocktail Shaker with Ice and pour in both the La Mauny Rhum and the Sugar Syrup. Shake well until a layer of ice forms on the shaker. Empty the ice water from the now chilled cocktail glass and strain the contents of the shaker into the cocktail glass.
Garnish with the lime twist before serving.
